Mr. Thabo M. Munyai holds a BSc degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Pretoria attained in 2001, He was hailed as the first South African to attain a degree in the field of Landscape Architecture at that time getting coverage from various new papers and radio interviews. He is a registered Professional at the South African Council for Landscape Architectural Professionals (SACLAP) and a member of the Council as SACLAP’s President of the Council for the years 2017-2021 representing the Minister of the Department of Public Works. He also holds a PMIDEAS certification for a Project Manager Professional (PMBok), pending only the international examination. 

He accumulated his enormous knowledge by working with various private Landscape Architectural firms such as Van riet and Louw now known as V & L landscape architects, Environomics and Bokamos Landscape Architect participating in projects varying from Design, Environmental Planning, Visual impact assessments and Environmental Impact assessments. He then joined the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality’s Environmental planning section during 2004-2005 and further worked for Johannesburg City Parks as an in-house Landscape Architect for all the (PMU) Department, responsible for the In-hause designs and approvals of various Site development Plans. 

Due to his proven leadership and undeniable success with the designs receiving media attentions and awards, Mr. TM Munyai then became the coowner of Silver Horns Consulting, specialising in a Landscape Architectural,  Architectural and Project Management in the Built Environment.
